I am quite liking this "Children at Play" quilt! Measures.... 36 x 36....perfect for a baby....girl that is!.....Downloaded the letters from Moda Bake Shop....then I used Heat n' Bond and a straight stitch to adhere the letters to the cotton background....oh yes, did I tell you?...this is the back of the quilt.....and here's the front!!!
I used a Janome walking foot to quilt diagonally. Painters tape is a great tool for keeping the lines straight. Don't sew on the tape....things get very weird if you do!
Anyway...next ....the pink polk-a-dot binding!...just a suggestion....Take a look at Barb Sackel's Binding tutorial. She is so easy to follow! CONFESSION...this is only my third quilt....guess you could call this a new journey....keeps me out of trouble....a little creativity is good for the soul!!! thanks for coming along!
